Event Summary
This session explores how to craft a LinkedIn profile that reflects your full range of goals, skills and experience — without diluting your professional focus. Learn strategies for positioning yourself as a multifaceted professional while maintaining a cohesive and credible personal brand.
It was never a good idea to ignore LinkedIn but now, more than ever, you need to not only look good on LinkedIn but also use your network to stay visible.
Be found:
- Get them interested / tell your story (what’s in it for them), and leave them wanting to know more
- Stay in touch / use your network
- Show up more often in searches
Special Focus:
Learn how to make your profile more effective and how to position multiple goals.
Whether you’re in a full-time job and also interested in consulting opportunities, or laid off and working on contract while looking for a full-time job, there are different ways to showcase that on LinkedIn.
Perhaps you’re running a consulting business while keeping an eye out for full-time opportunities. Or you may be doing fractional work and looking for more. Maybe you just want to showcase your work at your company but show you’re available for non-profit Board positions.
You’ll learn practical ways to represent these multiple goals on LinkedIn while maintaining a clear, credible professional brand.
